Our next night was spent at the Devil's Marbles. These are enormous granite rocks that have weathered over the years to resemble huge marbles. This is yet another extremely scenic place that you can't do justice with photos but I took plenty anyway.

This was our first night at a National Park with no power our water and only a pit toilet. Charlie really struggled with no tv and didn't like the taste of milk heated up in a saucepan. I struggled with the idea of the pit toilet but overall it went ok.
When we went out to clean our teeth at night we saw dingoes running around. Unfortunately 3 year olds are too big to be taken, should have tried harder at Uluru! Michael and I got woken up at midnight by their howling. It was very eerie. The stars were absolutely amazing, I think the most spectacular I have ever seen, including at our house in Kevington.

Looks harmless enough here! Sound asleep in the sunshine.
