Check out the haircuts! Thanks to Charlie's incurable headlice, I bought a pair of clippers in Darwin and cut off all their hair. Even Charlie's curls are gone.

The next day we went with the Walker family on a tour of Litchfield. We drove along a 4WD track for about 10km, including a couple of creek crossings, to Blythe Homestead. This is an old shack built by a family in the 1920's to house 11 of their 14 children who they had put to work in a tin mine. They kids lived there by themselves, their dad came out every few months to bring them supplies! Our kids have no idea how easy things are for them these days.

The next stop was Wangi Falls where we swam and the kids jumped off a 4 metre high rock into the water. It was absolutely beautiful.

After Wangi Falls we drove along another 4WD track to some rocks called the Lost City. They were pretty spectacular but it was so hot that we left fairly quickly to get to the next waterfalls, Florence Falls.

Again the kids enjoyed finding a really high place to jump off to freak out their mothers! However they weren't as foolhardy as the French tourists who were jumping off the top of the falls on the right of the photo above.

This is Tarron Walker doing a back flip off the rock - very impressive!
